Vancouver, British Columbia — July 14, 2025 CaNickel Mining Limited (“CaNickel” or the “Company”) announces that, effective immediately, directors Shirley Anthony and James Dai have resigned from the Board but will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, respectively. Concurrently, Lu Zhang and Xiaopeng Liu have been appointed as new directors of the Company. 

Mr. Zhang is a steel processing consultant with over 15 years of experience in the Tangshan steel production industry in China. He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tangshan University and has extensive knowledge of the entire steel manufacturing process in northern China. 

Mr. Liu is a marketing consultant with over 10 years of experience in the alumina refining industry. He has an undergraduate business degree from Tangshan University and has worked in the Tangshan area since graduation. 

The Company expresses gratitude to Ms. Anthony and Mr. Dai for their board contributions and welcomes Mr. Liu and Mr. Zhang to the board. 

 

ABOUT CANICKEL 

CaNickel Mining Limited is a Canadian junior mining company that currently owns the Bucko Lake Mine, currently on care and maintenance, near Wabowden, Manitoba.
