Class 1 Nickel Sulfide Mine in the heart of Canada
CaNickel Mining Limited (TSX-V: CML) is a Canadian junior mining company that owns 100% of the Bucko Lake Mine Project. The Bucko Lake Mine is a past-producing Class 1 nickel sulfide mine located 2 km outside the town of Wabowden in Manitoba, Canada. From 2009 to 2012, nearly 450,000 tonnes of ore were mined to produced 6.9 million pounds of nickel before the mine was put on care and maintenance due to low nickel prices.
The Bucko Lake Mine now hosts significant NI43-101-compliant mineral resources of 5.8Mt @ 1.24% Ni in the Measured & Indicated category and 10.6Mt @ 1.18% Ni in the Inferred category. Together with an existing 1,000-tpd processing mill facility, backfill paste plant, a 100-person camp, and extensive infrastructure access, the Bucko Lake Mine represents one of the most advanced nickel sulfide projects in North America today.
